Winter has arrived, meaning more days spent inside. Which is a great excuse to buy many candles. It’s also an easy and inexpensive way to brighten up your day.
In Denmark, they have this word that can’t be translated in English, the word is hyggeligt, essentially it means cozy. But it’s more than that, it means creating a warm atmosphere, enjoying the moment with friends & family and just being happy.
Winter can be long, so create that warm and cozy atmosphere with lighting some candles around the house. It’s simple but it makes a big difference in those long dark days.
My favorite candles are from Voluspa, they’re a coconut wax blend and phthalate free. They’re my obsession this winter. My go-to scent during the holiday season is moso bamboo. It’s like having fir trees in my studio but without the mess. I love it!
